Teton Trip

We had so much fun on our trip to Grand Teton National Park! We saw a lot of wild life, no moose though. :( I even got up enough guts to ride the Jackson Hole Tram to the top of one of the mountain peeks! I had a waffle and the café at the top. The view was breathtaking! It was overcast so I couldn't get the full 360 degree view but what I got was fantastic! We did several hikes, and came back with sore legs!

We loved our trip! We highly recommend going to the Tetons.

This is the bear we saw. It was very far away, which is fine with me! We believe, after showing the photo to a park ranger, that this is a young grizzly bear.

This is a beautiful Bald Eagle that was across the lake from us. It was at one of

the small lakes near Swan Lake. I wish I had a lens larger then my 600mm lens....

Photos From the Tetons

We recently took a trip with some friends to Grand Teton National Park during Memorial Day weekend. (We spent one afternoon in Yellowstone National Park). We got snow and rain most of the time were were there! The last day we were there the sky cleared up just in time for our drive home. Figures. :) I was able to get some great shots and we did have a lot of fun, despite of the bad weather.

Emerald Snake

This is from "The Living Planet Aquarium."

I went with a photography club here called "Photowalking Utah" to the aquarium and this is my best and favorite shot!

6 Month Old Kajsa

Here is adorable 6 month old Kajasa. She has grown so much! 

I took her new born photos when she was only 2 weeks old and I can't believe how much she has grown!

Photo Restoration on 1939 Photo

I recently had the opportunity to restore this photo for a client. 

This photo is from 1939 and was keep in a wallet for many years. As you can see some of the photo had been rubbed completely off, it's faded and has very little contrast and the color is really yellow. It's difficult to see the faces of the people in the photo.

You can see the the rubbed off portion of the photo is now filled in, i've added contrast so you can actually see the expressions on the faces, I corrected the color, and I cleaned up most of the fine lint,spots and scratched. You can now see the expressions on the faces and see that the little boy is squinting. The story in this photo is now visible.
